I found it interesting that temperament can be, but not always, linked to become gay. There are some men that are born with a more sensitive temperament, through this they may be made fun of or their fathers may discipline or interact with the children in a way that distances or injured a child because of his sensitively. Going back to the teasing they may encounter, boys that are sensitive may enjoy more "girly" actives and they might be able to relate with girls. As we discussed in class it is more socially acceptable for girls to be "tom boys" than it is for a boy to show interest in "girl things." This can lead to bullying and make the boy feel alienated from other boys. Also if Dad doesn't understand his son, or doesn't care, or also thinks his son is girly that could also alienate the boy from his masculinity. I'm not saying that this is the case for all sensitive tempered boys or even most. But I found it interesting that this sensitive temperament could lead to being misunderstood and perspective of the child could lead him to feel alienated from other males.
